Dragon's Peak
Up dreary windswept Dragons Peak,
Jagged rock thrust through the earth,
A skinny boy begins to scale those walls so steep.
In search of her,
He covets her with love so deep.
Dreams of golden braids and scarlet smile,
Haunting visions all the while,
Of timeless beauty locked within that tower,
Kept from he who loves her so,
Calling him with all loves power.
But as is the way, of unspoken things,
As happens time and time again,
When love attempts to spread her wings,
Those who kept her locked so tight,
Unleashed the nameless pon the boy that night.
A crackons grasp, a thunderous clap,
Sends skinny boy down blackened gap.
In dark Chasms within those peaks,
Now rests eternal love so deep.
